Production Readiness Council is an independent community-led initiative. It is not a government body, statutory regulator, certification authority, or official standards organization. Published reports are based on community research, sandbox testing, and reviewer judgment, and should be used as technical guidance rather than legal, compliance, procurement, or production approval.

Core principles
- — Separate funding decisions from technical verdict decisions

The core trust rule
Sponsors may fund community infrastructure, events, research operations, sandbox environments, and contributor support. Sponsors cannot purchase verdicts, influence report outcomes, suppress findings, or control technical recommendations.
Conflict of interest
A contributor with direct employment, sponsorship, ownership, or commercial interest in a technology may contribute facts, documentation, test cases, and corrections, but cannot be the sole reviewer or final approver of a verdict for that technology.
